A well known children’s charity approached me to learn more about their social media activity. The project was to help benchmark their activity, see gaps and identify spaces for improvement.
The project reviewed their social media channels, breaking down content engagement by theme. Giving the charity an understanding of how the channels were being used, the balance of fundraising asks to support stories and other content themes. Additionally, the audit gave an understanding of what content types are most successful on each channel – video, blog posts, polls and what lead to conversions / donations.
Following the audit the charity was able to better categorise their content and be more strategic in the placement, timing, and balance of their content to increase engagement and ultimately conversions.
